Our tracing service can be used to locate an absconder. Be it an ex-tenant or a sole trader of a business, we are able to assist. Our costs are £95 + vat. We need to know the last known home address or business address to proceed.
Our specialist investigators (who work within the realms of the Data Protection Act) use a process involving intensive database searching together with visiting the last known address. This may involve speaking to current occupiers, contacting previous neighbours and various telephone enquiries. A result may be achieved very quickly but could take up to 6 weeks and we have a 90% success rate.
Traces are needed for various reasons and if debt recovery is the next stage, then once we have located an address we will proceed immediately to make contact with your debtor.
In some cases it is necessary to locate a company director of a limited company – please see link to Company Searches.
Tracing a person can be for reasons other than debt recovery. A recent example is a solicitor client from the Midlands had been trying to locate twin brothers and we were able to find them in the nick of time just before they emigrated, informing them that they had inherited a fortune in a great aunt’s will.
A Car Leasing Company in Edinburgh approached us through our Business Network connections in Scotland. We managed to trace a very elusive character that they had been trying to locate for several months who we found in the Newcastle Upon Tyne area. This eventually resulted in a successful payment plan of instalments.
